- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆When I explained the basics of my case to a legal friend this week she stated "they just didn't think your case was important, so they sat on it". After 3 1/2 years, a totaled car, missed work, a year of treatment and many follow up calls, my offer was $7500, which I'd get $1800. After I fired them, for what I consider complete incompetence, they have now put a Lein on the case for $8,800, billing me, a single mom, out of work due to chronic pain from the accident at $350 an hour. If it wasn't so tragic, I would have to laugh...as per our last conversation, "this is a joke right?".
